Recent reports have suggested that Inter Milan are interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount. However, these rumours have been quashed, with sources close to both clubs indicating that there is no truth to the speculation.
According to Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Inter Milan are not interested in signing Mason Mount. Romano claims that there have been no talks between the two clubs regarding a potential transfer, and that Inter Milan are not currently prioritizing the signing of a midfielder.
Manchester United are also keen to keep Mount at the club. The midfielder joined the Red Devils from Chelsea in the summer of 2023 for a fee of around £60 million, and he is seen as a key part of the team's future. Mount has struggled with injuries since joining United, but he is still highly regarded by manager Erik ten Hag.
Mount has been sidelined with a calf injury since September, and he is not expected to return to action until after the World Cup. However, once he is fit, he is expected to play a significant role for Manchester United in the second half of the season.
Despite the rumours linking him with a move to Inter Milan, it appears that Mount's future lies at Old Trafford. The midfielder is under contract with Manchester United until 2028, and he is said to be happy at the club.
Mount is a talented and versatile midfielder who has the potential to become a key player for Manchester United. He is still only 24 years old, and he has many years ahead of him in his career. Once he returns from injury, he will be hoping to make a big impact for the Red Devils.
