Manchester United may have secured a narrow 2-1 victory over their city rivals, but legendary former midfielder Roy Keane was far from impressed with the performance. The Irishman, known for his no-nonsense approach, launched a scathing critique of the team's display.
Keane, speaking on Sky Sports, was particularly critical of the team's defensive lapses and lack of composure. "Manchester United are not doing the basics right," Keane said. "They're sloppy, they're careless, and it's a real concern."
The former United captain also questioned the managerial decisions of Ruben Amorim, suggesting that the Portuguese coach needs to take more control of the team. "Amorim needs to get a grip on this team," Keane said. "They're not playing with any real conviction or belief."
Keane's comments have sparked a heated debate among Manchester United fans. While some agree with his assessment, others have defended the team's performance, pointing to the three points secured.
