Manchester United are on the cusp of securing their place in the knockout stages of the Europa League. With just two games remaining in the group stage, the Red Devils are well-placed to progress and are among the favourites to lift the trophy.

A near-perfect group stage campaign

Ruben Amorim´s side have been impressive in Europe this season, winning three and drawing three of their five group games. Their unbeaten record so far has left them top of their group on 12 points, with two matches still to play.

The remaining fixtures

With two games remaining, Manchester United's fate is largely in their own hands. They will face Rangers at Old Trafford on January 23rd before traveling to Romania to take on FCSB on January 30th.

A favourable run-in

Both Rangers and FCSB have been inconsistent in the Europa League this season, making United clear favourites to win both of their remaining matches. However, the Red Devils will be wary of complacency, as any slip-up could see them miss out on top spot in the group.

A potential title challenge

With their strong performances in the Europa League, Manchester United have emerged as one of the favourites to win the competition. The Red Devils have a rich history in the tournament, having won it on three occasions.

A successful Europa League campaign would not only provide the club with a much-needed trophy but would also secure a place in next season's Champions League.
