Manchester United are leaving nothing to chance as they plan to build a domineering team under Erik Ten Hag, who was brought in from Ajax in the summer to help United replicate his Dutch league success in the EPL.
The Dutch manager has been guaranteed to receive enough financial backing from the club irrespective of the ongoing takeover talks. The club invested over 200 million euros last summer to acquire quality players.

With the season put on a halt for the commencement of the World Cup, Manchester United saw it as the perfect opportunity to follow and scout some exciting talents that could become part of their team under Ten Hag's guidance.
Their attention struck on Croatia colossus defender Josko Gvardiol, who has played every minute for his country at the ongoing World Cup in Qatar and he plays for RB Leipzig in the Germany Bundesliga. His physique and defensive understanding were an irresistible attraction for the Red Devils.
With the World Cup, entering its final stage, Gvardiol and his Croatian teammate saw off the Moroccan side 2-1 to win the Third place match at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Gvardiol also got on the scoresheet which marked a beautiful end to his World Cup campaign as he eyes a move away from Leipzig to Manchester United as they intensify their interest.
