Sir Bobby Charlton passed away at the age of 86 years old, and this has caused for reactions of several former players of the team that acknowledge the legend that he is to the team.
It has been confirmed that a wreath has been laid at the Trinity Statue outside of Old Trafford by Manchester United, and a book of condolences will be open for the fans and the public to pay tribute to Sir Bobby Charlton from 10 am tomorrow, Sunday 22th of October, in the International Suite at the stadium for the fans to send their message to the legend.
“It all started with Sir Bobby, Sir Bobby was the reason I had the opportunity to play for Manchester United. I will forever be grateful to him, he was someone who I admired and who was a hero to many around the world, not just in Manchester and in our country where he won the Wolrd Cup in 1966.” was part of the message from David Beckham.
Beckham ended, “A true gentleman, a family man and a national hero. Today is not just a sad day for Manchester United and England, it is a sad day for football and everything that Sir Bobby stood for. Our thoughts are with Lady Norma, her daugthers and his grandchilder. Rest in peace Sir Bobby.” was the whole message that the fans received from the midfielder in this moment.

Manchester United players are set to pay their respects in the game against Sheffield by having a minute of silence and they are also going to wear black armbands in the game, one of the thoughest loss for the football fans all around the world now.
