The red devils are now looking to get some better results, and this could be the start of a new era for André Onana with the team for the next part of the season.

Manchester United keeper, André Onana, is ready to go ahead and leave the team in the next part of the season to participate in the AFCON, but the fact is that he is sure that the red devils fans would eventually come around and love the player in the next few months, and that it is only a matter of time for him now.

"Mistakes are part of learning, we know that people expect a lot from me and that's why they criticise me so much. But for me it's not a problem, I'm used to it. The same thing also happened at Inter: at the beginning they criticised me, but look how it ended," Onana started, and that shows that he is confident that with enough time he could go ahead and turn things around.

Onana added, "Manchester United is an even bigger club and the expectations are also greater, but I'm sure that by doing better and better, from now on, we will smile together as happened with Inter: few believed in us, but we showed what we were capable of." and that could be one of the reasons for the new pressure he has felt.

"Now, at United, I have my future in my hands, we just have to get up and I'm sure we will. For this reason I say that life is made up of moments, and as such, for better or for worse, they are always temporary." Onana ended, and now he could be ready to show that he is the keeper that the red devils do need right now.

André Onana concern

The keeper himsef has also made some comments that his main concern with leaving the team now is the fact that he believes that Altay Bayindir, the back up keeper could easily take over the starting place in the line up when he is given the chance.
