Antony's agent, Junior Pedroso, has revealed that there has been significant interest in the Manchester United winger ahead of the January transfer window. Speaking to Fabrizio Romano, Pedroso confirmed that "many clubs have approached us for Antony's move in January."

United Yet to Decide on Antony's Future

Despite the interest from other clubs, Manchester United have not yet indicated their desire to sell or loan out the Brazilian winger. Pedroso stated, "To be fair, I must say that Manchester United has never expressed any interest towards us about their intentions to sell or loan Antony. We never received any communication of that kind, at least until now."

Antony Open to a Loan Move

However, Pedroso also revealed that Antony would be open to a loan move in January if it would benefit his development. "If the club believes it is a good idea to loan him out in January so he can gain minutes and confidence, we will work together on it," he said.

New Manager, New Opportunity

With the recent appointment of Rúben Amorim as the new Manchester United manager, Antony is keen to impress the Portuguese coach and secure his place in the starting eleven. "Antony will continue to work hard to regain his place and show the best of his abilities to the new coach, Rúben Amorim," Pedroso added.

Contract Situation

Antony is currently under contract with Manchester United until June 2027, with the club holding an option to extend his deal by a further year.
