It wouldn’t be a normal morning in Manchester if there wasn’t any off the field news about a Manchester United player. There’s been several news this year including Marcus Rashford going out partying after the Manchester Derby, and Ten Hag being out in the city after losing to Nottingham Forest. It’s never a dull day when it comes to this stuff.

Today’s victim when it comes to random off the field issues is Luke Shaw who has had a very frustrating year on the pitch and that frustration will only get worse as he left his Lamborghini outside a train station for too long. He’s not the first United player to pick up parking tickets this season as Marcus Rashford has had a series of incidents when it comes to parking tickets and had to pay a fine last month on his McClaren. Rashford’s fine was 60 British pounds while Shaw must pay 240 British pounds. A little more damage was done to the pockets of the full back.

Shaw had previously been seen driving the car to Carrington, where Manchester United training takes place, before there were pictures taken of four yellow tickets slapped on the windshield of his Lamborghini Urus.

Whilst parking tickets can be a nagging issue, Shaw has bigger issues on hand and that is to regain match fitness and return to the starting XI as the player has not featured in a game since before Christmas. The player has had an injury riddled season after missing over three months with injury earlier in the season and got injured again within a month of returning. Add Shaw’s injuries with the fact that his backup Tyrell Malacia has not featured in a game this season, Manchester United have spent a majority of the season light at the left back position as Aaron Wan-Bissaka featured there last game.
