Arsenal surprise Man United as they prepare first offer for Marcus Rashford
Manchester United main concern right now is the fact that the team does have a lot of young talent on the team, and they could be looking to go ahead and give them some more chances, and the fact is that players like Mainoo could be the main reason why the team does have to look back and see young players that could have an impact on the team now.
Now it has been confirmed that when he signed a contract extension, Mainoo had a clause that if he reached double digits appareances with the red devils, he would have gotten a pay rise to 20,000 euros per week from 10,000 and now he has played for the team 12 times this season and this number could increase rapidly in the next months that he plays for the team now.
“It’s a dream come true. I still think I’m dreaming to be honest. To play in the Premier League for my boyhood club it’s been amazing.” Mainoo said after the game against Wolves ended, and the fact is that right now the midfielder could become key for the team and to gain more consistency in the next few months now.
Ten Hag said on him, “Last autumn I saw him for first time. I thought he was playing too comfortable in 21s, he should be much more dominant, we pushed him a lot, by showing him but also in training, he makes such good progress. It is wonderful to see. I hope he stays calm.” as the midfielder is ready to keep being part of the first team right away.
Mainoo is showered with praise after saving Man United's victory against Wolves
On top of the goal that he scored to get the win for the red devils, it has also been confirmed that Mainoo is part of the ideal midfield for Ten Hag that is also looking to include Bruno and Casemiro next to him this current season.
