The red devils are now looking to be more consistent in the next part of the season, and the fact is that now it seems that the team might have an especial request.

Manchester United office is not happy with the fact that they are going to lose André Onana for more than a month thanks to the AFCON and the fact is that now it has also been reported that the red devils might be looking for another keeper if they believe that this is going to be the same situation every single year with the keeper.

It has been confirmed that the red devils scouts are really happy with the fact that Altay Bayindir might finally get his chance to prove himself with the team now, but the fact is that the manager is not really happy with this situation, and that has caused him to have a especial request for the keeper in the past few hours that could complicate his participation in the competition.

Several sources have now confirmed that the red devils are now asking the Cameroon National team and André Onana to considere the chance for the keeper to be present in the game against Tottenham, this game is going to take place the Sunday 14 of January, and this situation could force him for a really tight window for the keeper.

The main concern with this request is the fact that the first game of Cameroon in the AFCON is set to be the 15 of January, just 24 hours later after the kick off of the game against Tottenham, which could force Onana to have almost no rest and of course to take long flight in order to be a part of both games as the starting keeper in both games.

André Onana decision

André Onana is yet to take a stance on this request, and while the keeper was willing to arrive a little bit late to the Cameroon camp, the fact is that this situation is yet to be decided by him and could affect his future with either team.
