Manchester United supporters have expressed their anger and frustration after manager Rubén Amorim gave youngster Chido Obi just three minutes of playing time during the recent match.
With the team struggling to find form and sitting in 15th place in the Premier League, fans had been hoping to see more opportunities for the club's promising young talents. However, Amorim's decision to limit Obi's involvement has left supporters baffled and disappointed.
Taking to social media, fans vented their frustration. "What was the point of bringing on Chido Obi for just three minutes?" one fan tweeted. "We're 15th in the league and our attackers aren't producing. At least give the kid 20 or 30 minutes to make an impact."
Many fans believe that giving Obi more playing time would be beneficial for both the player and the team. The young forward has shown glimpses of his potential in training and in the youth team, and fans are eager to see him given a chance to prove himself at the highest level.
"It's a waste of talent," said another fan. "Obi has the potential to be a real star for this club, but he's being held back by the manager."
The decision to limit Obi's playing time has further increased the pressure on Amorim. The Portuguese manager has been under fire from fans and pundits alike in recent weeks, and his failure to develop the club's young talent is only adding to the criticism.
With the transfer window now closed, Manchester United are limited in their options to strengthen the squad. As a result, the club will need to rely on their young players to step up and make a difference.
Obi has the potential to be a valuable asset to the team, but he needs to be given more opportunities to prove himself. If Amorim continues to overlook the young forward, it could have serious consequences for both the player and the club.
