Former Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo has lit the 2022 FIFA World Cup in style after a torrid few days in media space over his comment and reservation about his then situation with his former club as Portugal saw off Ghana today.

Ronaldo had been in the media for days now after the explosive interview that saw him take swipes at his now former club, Erik Ten Hag, the owners, and their ambition for the club, which subsequently saw him exit the club on mutual consent.
