He was a youngster with a big dream and Manchester United have helped him fulfill it in Qatar.

After last season's poor achievement and a finish outside the top four targets, Manchester United sought a total overhaul to its squad as the likes of Paul Pogba, Jessie Lingard, Edinson Cavani, and more were shown the exit door for a new era to begin.

Erik Ten Hag was brought in from the dominant Eredivise side, Ajax to begin a new chapter in the club's history. A list of targets was identified to bring Ten Hag's ideas to life. Christian Eriksen, Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez, and Antony were all brought in to ignite more passion from in the squad.

Antony's transfer was the most expensive and difficult to do for United as Ajax consistently rejected bids for the talented winger till a world-record fee was tabled for him. A reported 95 million euros was eventually accepted by the Dutch club to grant Antony his dream move.

The Brazilian international started life the Theater of Dreams win in great fashion with a goal on his debut against table toppers Arsenal and has gone on to add more to his tally with a combined 7 goal contributions this season from 14 appearances. His delightful form earned him a spot on Tite's team for the World Cup In Qatar.

Antony was part of the Brazil team that eased through Serbia yesterday, in a 2-0 win courtesy of a Richarlison brace. Antony was brought on as a late substitute to make his first appearance at the FIFA World Cup which has been a childhood dream of his. The talented winger was filled with joy to join the likes of Neymar and Thiago Silva as well as his Manchester United teammates Casemiro and Fred in the Brazil squad at Qatar.
