Old Trafford and Carrington have been at the center of Ronaldo's remarks in his latest interview that garnered wild spread reactions and brought more scrutinizing eyes to the Manchester club. His remarks have echoed some of the fans' reservations about the club in recent years.

Although he has been criticized by some pundits for his action, others are in support of him. His timing of the interview seemed rather suspicious, all national team call-up players are away from their club commitments as they prepare for the World Cup.

This is how United will punish Cristiano after his interview

It is no surprise that United are extremely unhappy with what has happened and is said to be seriously working on taking legal action against their star player with a possible contract termination in progress already as they wish to address this as soon as possible.

United's contract with Ronaldo would be tricky to terminate and as such, they are also hoping to find any opening that will enable them to prevent Ronaldo from joining any club until his deal with them expires. So far there has been no break but many believe a clean slate release is the best.

WHAT SHOULD RONALDO EXPECT FROM UNITED?

Although he is in Qatar already, Ronaldo is most certainly prepared for what is to come both at United and the World Cup. Many believe that his interview was planned out to help him get a move away from Old Trafford, which will leave the fans heartbroken for a long time. Chelsea had an expressed interest in the summer and could be back in for him in January.
