When Manchester United approached Erik Ten Hag towards the end of last season, many believe it was going to be a smooth ride for the dominant Dutchman to establish his footing at Manchester and stamp his authority across the entire squad as United look to the future.

One of the major issues that were predicted upon his arrival was if he'd compromise and integrate club legend Cristiano Ronaldo into his vision of building a young and vibrant team to challenge the best teams in the league and across the European competitions.

A recently teased interview with Cristiano Ronaldo by Piers Morgan has revealed some shocking information about the team and how he feels betrayed by the dutchman amongst a few other things that were shared in the short clip. The information has since created a volcano of reactions from the footballing World.

Erik Ten Hag is reported to be furious about Ronaldo's latest action after just reconciling with the star player following his recall to the first team from his one-game internal suspension for miss conduct. The Dutchman is set to be ready to get rid of Ronaldo as they are now at a place of irreconcilable differences.

WHAT IS THE FUTURE OF RONALDO AND TEN HAG?

Well, Ten Hag was signed by United with the desire to build a long-term project at Old Trafford and would most certainly be backed by the board once they make their stands known upon the release of the interview this week. As for Ronaldo, it seems he will be getting his desired exit in January as many believe this interview was his exit plan.
