While Manchester United's season is halted at the moment, there's a lot of action going on around the club and its players as the World Cup takes center stage. There have been moments of turmoil and excitement over the past week, which is a butterfly effect caused by Ronaldo's explosive media interview.
The club legend criticized several arms of the club's structure including new manager Erik Ten Hag and ultimately resulted in United mutually terminating his contract. Shortly after news broke that the Glazers are ready to sell the club and are expecting bids.

It's official, Manchester United want him as Ten Hag seeks addition to squad
While this United showed Ronaldo out, his now former teammate Bruno Fernandes is already helping United out with his replacement while away on international duties. The playmaker provide a beautiful assist to Joao Felix in Portugal's World Cup opener against Ghana, which they won 3-2.
Joao Felix has been on United's radar since his days at SL Benfica but switched to Spain to join Atletico Madrid instead. It is reported that Atletico Madrid is ready to let go of the Portuguese international after his recent transfer distraction and Bruno is reportedly encouraging him to switch to Old Trafford.
While an official bid is yet to be made, Joao Felix is rumored to be interested in the move as he wants a new challenge. The 23-year-old fits the bill of a Ten Hag player with his work rate in games and his attacking threat in opposition halves. Cristiano Ronaldo might have also chipped in a word or two in favor of United while advising him despite his recent outburst at the club before his exit.
