Manchester United and Erik ten Hag are set on signing a new midfielder in this transfer window, and now they have worked a deal that could allow them to sign a new player for that position.

Erik ten Hag has one thing clear on his mind, the fact that the red devils squad needs a new midfielder that would allow him to have more control on the ball, and now that there are several options on the team, it seems that the Manchester United team have set their mind on signing the Everton player, and they believe the have the deal to make it happen.

The new name on the list of midfielders that could actually reinforce the Manchester United in this transfer window is Amadou Onana, the belgian midfielder seems to be now the main option for the red devils, and while the Everton team has set a transfer fee price of at least 60 million euros, the team believes they have a deal to bring him to Old Trafford.

Manchester United office believe that while the 60 million euros amount could be too much for the player, they are ready to offer either Donny van de Beek or Scott McTominay to the deal, in hopes that with one of those players included they would be able to bring the price down to 20 million euros, and that would actually allow the deal to happen.
