Manchester United have been on the lookout for new signings to come in before the start of the Premier League, after securing two signings during the month of July, the Red Devils are looking to add a third player to their squad who can continue to give the fans hope and be a great addition to the squad.

Erik Ten Hag has been busy this summer, discovering how he can fill the gaps and deficiencies that he had last season, for that reason the coach is planning to cover every position on the field; as we already know he started covering the midfield, the backbone of the team, with the signing of Mason Mount is expected to achieve a balance that allows the ball to flow in a better way and get more opportunities to the offensive part of the team.

The second focus was on goalkeeping, after David de Gea left the starting line-up, Ten Hag had to look to André Onana, an old Ajax acquaintance, for the ideal replacement that would allow him to implement his game plan from the defensive end; both players are already doing pre-season training with the rest of their teammates with the intention of getting them used to the system of play, however, there is another player who is planning to join the team soon.

Sofyan Amrabat, one of the prospects that the coach has been watching since last season, his performance in the World Cup and with his team Fiorentina, have made United think about making an official offer of between 25-30 million euros during this transfer window, which is expected to be presented soon, to continue negotiations.

What Amrabat would earn

Manchester United are confident of being able to sign the Moroccan midfielder in the coming weeks, which is why they have already been talking to the player to agree on certain personal terms, such as his salary; this has been revealed by a source close to the club and it is rumoured that he would be earning just £4m per year, something the Red Devils could take advantage of.
