The Red Devils are gearing up for their first cup semifinal game later tonight against Nottingham Forest away from. This is the first leg of the Carabao Cup semifinal and Erik Ten Hag's first close changes of making it into a final with his Manchester United fans.

When Ten Hag took over in the summer, it wasn't certain how long it will take for the club to get back on its feet with the rebuild process. But the continuous improvement from the team's recent growth since he took over has ignited more assurances that the club is in the right direction.

The Red Devils have beaten three teams on their way to the semifinals of the Carabao Cup. They started off with a comeback victory against Aston Villa which ended 4-2 back in November, just before the club season was halted.

Then just as club season resumed in December, United ran through Burnley with a 2-0 win to make their return. It was followed up with a 3-0 win against League 1 side Charlton Athletic, with Marcus Rashford scoring a brace in the late part of the game.

What should fans expect tonight?

Following their defeat against Arsenal, Erik Ten Hag declared that the team has moved and is solely focused on tonight's fixture. A strong start lineup that includes Casemiro will most likely be named alongside Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, and a few others. A victory tonight will give United an edge ahead of the second leg at Old Trafford.
