What looked like it would be a disastrous summer for our Manchester United in terms of signings due to the whole issue of the sale of the club and the Glazer Family, has actually turned out to be quite productive, as our manager Erik ten Hag has managed to sign players that promise to be very important for the future of the team and the most recent of them was Rasmus Hojlund.

The Red Devils' management managed to secure the arrival of the 20-year-old Danish striker, who played last season with Serie A side Atalanta, where he scored 10 goals in 34 games in all competitions. Although the Transfermarkt portal has him currently valued at 45 million euros, Manchester United had to pay 75 million euros to sign him, as Erik ten Hag is convinced that Hojlund can be the perfect long-term striker for the club.

Hojlund joins Mason Mount and André Onana as Manchester United's reinforcements for this upcoming season and the Old Trafford fans are eager to see him play for the Red Devils, as Hojlund is considered one of the top gems of Danish football and promises to become a world class striker in the coming years, however he has barely arrived and has not even made his debut and has already delivered bad news for everyone, but especially for Erik ten Hag.

The bad news

Rasmus Hojlund underwent his medicals with Manchester United and during an MRI scan he was found to have a critical stress response point in his back, which may be a history of stress fractures in young players so, as a precaution, he will not be able to play twice a week for at least some time. In addition, he could miss the first game of the season against Wolverhampton.
