Manchester United have been a joy to watch this season for the fans as they keep improving their performance in every game. With a run of huge results and fine form from the Red Devils, there is little for anyone to be sad about. Or at least there is for one player at United.

Erik Ten Hag has gradually begun to identify his consistent starter after over 17 games played, with the likes of Rashford, Lisandro, Dalot, Eriksen, and a few others who make up his preferred eleven. His decision to stick to some players has limited and also killed the opportunity for others to fight for a spot.

Raised his level by Erik ten Hag, will now be part of Southgate's squad

As the January transfer window beckons, Ten Hag is ready to say goodbye to United's Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who has yet to play more than one single Premier League football under the Dutchman. The 24-year-old right-back has been considered as not needed in the squad and will be let go in January.

The English player joined United from Crystal Palace in 2019 with over 127 appearances, 2 goals, and 10 assists. Wan-Bissaka was once a regular start for United but has been unable to break into the starting lineup since the start of the season, leaving him with only an exit option come January.

IS THERE EVEN A CHANCE TO TURN THINGS AROUND?

Every manager is quick to identify players they'd like to keep in their team when they join and who should leave, which is the same for Erik Ten Hag. He was quick to back Diogo Dalot by giving him consistent starts even when Wan-Bissaka was fit and available. It remains unclear if there is a way back for the right back just like Ronaldo but there's enough time for him and Ten Hag to decide what happens next.
