Once again it seems that Manchester United are looking into the idea of signing Frenkie De Jong in this transfer window, and the fact is that Erik ten Hag has defined a new position for the deal.

Erik ten Hag has always been a fan of Frenkie De Jong, the red devils manager believes that he would be the perfect midfielder for his current project with Manchester United, and while he tried to sign him in the past season and again in this transfer window, it seems that the manager has decided to have a new position for the deal to actually happen any time soon.

The fact is that now Erik ten Hag has told Frenkie De Jong that he has stop any idea of signing him, and that the manager is not going to make any effort at all to bring him to Old Trafford, and as a matter of fact it now seems that the midfielder could be the one that could actually push for the deal to happen.

“Manchester United Evening News” reported the fact that Frenkie De Jong is angry with the Barcelona team, the reason being that the spanish team still owes him a lot of his salary that he was promised, and the same source reported that the family members of the midfielder talked to Erik ten Hag to let him know that they would be open for a move to Manchester.

Frenkie De Jong value

Now the fact that Frenkie De Jong could be changing his mind about the deal that would send him to Manchester United, it seems that Barcelona have not change their mind regarding the fact that they are set to get 100 million euros for the midfielder if he decides to push for the deal to actually happen.
