Manchester United was in a tremendous mood when the team found a way to snatch up all three points against Fulham in the final league game before the league was halted. The win provided them with more confidence in their current group of players, that Erik Ten Hag has assembled to lead them back to top glory.

The confidence not only rubbed off on the fans but also propelled the improved performance of several United stars that are currently participating in the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, with 14 of the being called up for the Mundial.

Erik Ten Hag who is currently overseeing the activities of the rest of the squad as they prepare for their training camp in Qatar would most definitely be following the exploits of his called-up stars in Qatar, a few of them continue to improve on their brilliant form.

Although Bruno Fernandes started off the season a shadow of his usual self as he was lackluster in creating chances and even finished them off, he has turned things around drastically in the last few weeks as he's currently back to his exception form.

HOW GOOD HAS BRUNO BEEN IN RECENT WEEKS?

The Portuguese star has been the driving force of both Manchester United and his national team side with his burst into top form after a one-game break. Bruno was instrumental to Portugal's 3-2 win over Ghana in game one and further improved on that yesterday when his braces against Uruguay sent Portugal to the round of 16 at the World Cup. Portugal's dominance in both games sends a   clear message of their intentions to fiercely compete for the holy grail.
