Carragher holds nothing back when talking about Onana and Man United performances

The red devils definitely need to get past this situation, but first they do need to considere the situation that they are in and how they could go ahead and change that.

Manchester United are definitely concerned about the fact that despite the mistakes from the keeper he is still going to be given the chance to be in the line up for the next game of the red devils, and the fact is that this could really complicate the future of Onana on the team that now is on thin ice with the manager and the hierarchy of the team.

“For a team hunting the biggest trophies, the art of being a world class keeper is to do the little you are required to do brilliantly well… Unfortunately for Onana, at the start of his United career he has been responsible for turning victories into draws, and draws into defeats.” where some of the words that Carragher wrote on his column.

He added, “The performance in Turkey was unacceptable for a Manchester United goalkeeper. You would not expect an Under 18 keeper to make the basic handling error for Galatasaray’s second goal. If a youth keeper was promoted and played like Onana on Wednesday evening, he would probably never feature for the first team again.” and the fact is that the red devils definitely need to have some better  performances in the next part of the season.

“Onana has cost United too many cheap goals. The hope that the worst was behind him after a poor start to his Old Trafford career has been blown out of the water and Wednesday was a huge step backwards. Onana has already developed a reputation for being a liability. That will take a long time to overcome and reverse.” Carragher ended.
