In a no so long ago media interview after the Arsenal loss, the Manchester United manager gave some heartbreaking remarks about his players' performance and even singled out Antony. It could be presumed that Ten Hag was less than satisfied with the performance.

Antony hasn't been in the best of form in recent weeks, with several underwhelming performances that have fans calling for him to be dropped. Ten Hag refused to give in to fans' requests and still played the Brazilian winger in their last two games.

Antony's national teammate Casemiro had been in top form since he started featuring in the team's starting lineup. The addition of the Brazilian midfielder has helped Ten Hag easily enforce his attacking style of play across the front line at the moment.

Casemiro alongside Antony featured in Manchester United's 3-1 win over Reading in the FA Cup at Old Trafford. Casemiro set United on the way to victory with a second-half brace with Antony providing the assist for the opener. Fred score United's third goal but they conceded resulting in a 3-1 win.

What did Casemiro say about Antony?

Casemiro was excited to talk about Antony's performance even more than his own efforts. Casemiro revealed that Antony is an exceptional and incredible player that is giving his best. The 22-year-old winger set up Casemiro's opening goal for the United against Reading and even won the MOTM award for his performance.
