Manchester United's Europa League disaster in Seville contains almost no positive aspects. The humiliating 3-0 victory in Spain sent Erik ten Hag's side out of Europe at the quarter-final stage. United were two up in the first leg at Old Trafford before conceding two own goals to draw 2-2 and give up a crucial lead.

United was left roaring on Thursday night as they produced a dismal performance to retire against the Europa League series winners. There were poor results across the board with the Reds completely outmatched. Among the consequences there was another warning for midfielder Casemiro.

But the player is determined to avoid being penalized for his transgression, despite the fact that it is his third booking in the competition this season. Dean Henderson may not play again this season, Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper has hinted.

The man on loan from Manchester United suffered an ankle injury in January and has been unable to return to training since. Keylor Navas secured a loan transfer to Forest from Paris Saint-Germain to cover his absence, as the former Real Madrid goalkeeper was forced to make five saves during Sunday's 2-0 loss to United.

Henderson might not play for Nottingham Forest again this season

Henderson would not have been allowed to play against his parent club if he were fit, but speaking ahead of his team's trip to Liverpool, Cooper said he cannot guarantee the 26-year-old will step on the pitch again this season.
