Manchester United wants to make a deal with Chelsea, but it seems the club from London is playing some dirty tricks that have actually made the fans really angry.

Now it has been reported that the deal Mason Mount has been a complicated deal to get done, the fact is that Manchester United are not willing to pay more than 55 million euros for the english player and the other things is that Chelsea seems to be set at the price of 65 million euros at least for the midfielder, and things could get complicated from there.

Sources close to Manchester United could have change their focus and stop trying to sign Mason Mount for this season, mainly because they believe that the price tag of 65 million euros for the player includes what could be call the “Manchester United tax” and the team is not willing to pay that amount or to pay that extra money.

One of the reasons why Manchester United office and the fans considered that they are paying that tax on the deal for Mason Mount is because they do not believe how fast the deal for Mateo Kovacic was donde with Manchester City, and the fact that they are not willing to negotiate for Mount seems to be a direct offense for the team.

Mason Mount and Mateo Kovacic

The main reason why Manchester United believes that they are paying extra for the player is due to the fact that while both players where on the same situation of ending their contract in the summer of 2024, the Kovacic deal was accepted in the first offer they got and they only asked for 25 million euros, while with Mason Mount they are still trying to get that extra 10 million euros out Manchester United.
