Manchester United is drawing 0-0 against Real Sociedad in Old Trafford in our first game of the UEFA Europa League in group E. So far, there haven’t been many goalscoring chances on any side, but the Red Devils are the ones closer to open up the scoreboard.
Erik ten Hag decided to finally rotate the starting XI and went out to the pitch with these players: David De Gea, Diogo Dalot, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Tyrell Malacia, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Fred, Anthony Elanga, Antony, and Cristiano Ronaldo on top.

The Portuguese man finally returned to the starting line-up after four games in a row where he started sitting on the bench. However, didn’t look so happy as he was playing in the Europa League and not the Champions League, as we all know.
Despite this, he was the player that insisted the most on the United side and he was close to scoring in certain opportunities. He was pressing and cheering on his teammates in order to help the team score the first goal of the match.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored a goal, but it was disallowed because he was in an offside position. Diogo Dalot made a precise cross to which the Portuguese striker headed into the back of the net. Sadly, he was slightly ahead of the last defender when his fellow countryman made the pass.
