Cristiano Ronaldo was a huge fan of the Manchester derby and played in many of them till his exit from the club. His most recent Manchester derby was in Manchester United's bartering by City, 6-3 at the Etihad earlier this season which he watched on from the bench.

It was upsetting for him not to be in the starting lineup and more frustrating to watch his favorite club fall to a heavy defeat earlier days into the new club season. It was a game to forget for Erik Ten Hag by his lads as they hoped to be ready for the return fixture to Old Trafford which took place today.

His match-winning displays have put him on the same level of conversation as club legend Cristiano Ronaldo which he claimed today by scoring Manchester United's winner against City in today's derby game.
