David de Gea is set to leave to renew his contract, but that does not mean that he has his position secured and his competition might come a player that just won his league.
David de Gea is going to get his contract renew and he is looking to play with Manchester United for at least another year but despite the fact that even Erik ten Hag wants him they are still looking to sign a new goalkeeper that would be able to take that position with the team, and the answer could be a newly crowned player.
Matej Kovar is part of the Manchester United team and currently he was sent out on a loan to the Sparta Praga team and right now he just won the league with that team, and now that could make him come back to Manchester United and he would be able to compete for the position of the starting goal keeper with the team.
He is currenly 23 years old and he could be looking to come back to the Manchester United team in order to make his competiton for the team, he is currently valued at 3 million euros and after being an important part of his team to win the competiton he might be looking to make a come back for the team.
Matej Kovar has put on some great numbers this season on his league, he played a total of 23 games and with those 23 games he allowed only a total of 24 goals, but on top of that he also had a total of 8 clean sheets with his team, with those numbers he might be able to come back to Manchester United and looking to be the starter.
