One of the key promises made by Erik Ten Hag during his screening process for the Manchester United managerial job was the full integration into transfer decisions for the club, especially the first-team squad under his tutelage.
The Dutchman had a first-hand experience of the club's board keeping their end of the deal, which saw the investment of over 200 million in helping him acquire his transfer targets, which saw the club pay huge fees for the Ajax duos of Lisandro Martinez and Antony Santos.

The club made a further statement of their intentions with the marquee signing of highly decorated Champions League winner Casemiro from Real Madrid, in a transfer that took everyone by surprise, both in Madrid and Manchester as it was swiftly concluded.
The signings have all played this season, with some having a much greater influence in the starting lineup over others. But there's ample competition across the pitch to give Ten Hag more options to use during games to achieve their set-out results.
United is currently short in the attacking area, especially following the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo. But the club is also considering improving several positions across the pitch as soon as possible. New reports state that Erik Ten Hag and the board will internally decide on a striker and right-back to sign in January in the next few days.
