Days confirmed, when will Manchester United play against Bayern Munich in the Champions League?

On Thursday 31 August the UEFA Champions League draw was held to find out how the groups would be defined for the first phase of the most important tournament at club level, so all the fans were very aware of the opponents that the Red Devils could face this new season. 

As we remember, last season Erik Ten Hag was able to finish in third place in the general table after losing the first 6 games, so the team was able to find a rhythm of play that helped them to position themselves in a position that gave them a direct pass to the first stage of the Champions League, that was certainly a great goal achieved, since for some years they had not had the illusion that they have now to return to the top of Europe. 

For this reason, the whole team that make up the red devils, has the obligation to be able to reach at least the final stages of the tournament, because as every year the demands remain the same and the fans want to see the club lift all the trophies that are being disputed and although we know it will not be easy, we have the hope that with all the adjustments can be achieved. 

So Manchester United found out that they will be in Group A along with Galatasaray, FC Copenhagen and lastly FC Bayern Munich, this looks like the most important match for the club, as well as the most complicated as the Bavarian team is always one of the favourites to lift the trophy.

The Red Devils will have to improve their performance at the start of the season, as they will face Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on 20 September for their first Champions League game, and will close their group stage campaign against the Bavarian club on 12 December at Old Trafford.
