David De Gea was in fine form today as he fired another warn at the club of his immense quality over their current situation, in United's tight win over West Ham at Old Trafford. In a game where many saw Manchester United dominate the first of proceeding with a well deserved lead before the break, very few would have expected De Gea to play a part to this win.

Marcus Rashford reach a centurion of goal for Manchester United after he guided home delicious cross from Christian Eriksen to complement United's wave of attacking in the first half. De Gea was barely tested in by the Hammer in the half except for a Benrahma opportunity that safely thwarted by his backline.

The Hammers emerged the better of both teams in the second half, with De Gea getting called to action several times, especially by Kurt Zouma's header that saw the Spaniard at full stretch to parry it away for a corner kick. De Gea made four impressive saves in the second half to deny West Ham any chance back into the game. This makes it back to back clean sheets for the goalie and his fifth this season.

Club captain Harry Maguire was also a solid feature at the back today, filling in for the injured Raphaël  Varane by partnering Lisandro Martinez to marshal the defence. A decent performance by Maguire will push him at the top of Ten Hag's list to take up the vacant centre-back position in the coming games was we count down the World Cup.

This remains yet to be seen as they have only a goal difference on the league table after considering sixteen goals in the league so far.
