 The Red Devils goalie saw his target for today's game following Casemiro's blunder in the win.

Manchester United moved ahead of Newcastle on the league table as they moved ahead to third position on the league table. The Red Devils got a 2-1 win in a fiery game that saw a series of twists that included a penalty, team scuffles, and a nervy end.

David De Gea enjoyed a bright start to the game as he was barely called into action in the first half for the solid defensive work of Varane and Lisandro, who were well supported by Luke Shaw as well as Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The game was going as planned.

With Casemiro playing, Manchester United felt extra safe at the back they tried to pile up pressure on Crystal Palace. An early goal from Bruno Fernandes was a huge boost to United's game for the day. The captain on the afternoon, scored from the penalty spot to put them ahead.

Soon after Casemiro was sent off,  Manchester United concede a goal which infuriated the Unite goalie as it thwarted his plans to secure his 197th clean sheet for Manchester United. The milestone would put him level on record with United's all-time goalkeeping record held by Peter Schmeichel. Manchester United will have to play the next three games without Casemiro's safety.
