While almost all United players were celebrating the win, David De Gea was less impressed with the results due to the plans he had for the game. Rashford struck first but his goal was chalked off VAR for offside. United soon took the lead in the second half.
A brace from Casemiro in the 55th and 58th minutes of the game sent the home crowd into a celebration frenzy. It didn't take long for another Brazilian, Fred to add another goal for United on the night. The game ended 3-1 with Reading grabbing a late consolation, much to De Gea's disgust.
The Red Devils goalie had a personal milestone set for this game but was let down when Reading grabbed a consolation goal. According to reports, De Gea is just two clean sheets away from becoming Manchester United record clean sheets holder in history, ahead of club Peter Schmeichel.
