Cristiano Ronaldo was shown the exit door at Manchester United just around midway into their new campaign after his impressive exploits last season for the club, where he dominated the charts both on and off the pitch in style.

The club legend ended last season as United's top scorer across all competitions with 24 goals that helped them secure a European club competition for this campaign. His goals were very significant to United's chances last season and kept them in the top end of the table.

Erik Ten Hag joined Manchester United in the summer to begin a new chapter at the club as they hope to find a clear path to a brighter future. With that plan in mind, many doubted if Manchester would consider Ronaldo a part of their future under their new manager.

The club sealed Ronaldo's exit with their press release last month and they moved on with their future or so they thought. In a recent presser, Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag was asked about Ronaldo exit's which displeased him. He reportedly replied by saying that he already cleared everything up in his previous presser and is only focused on United's future.
