Next game of Manchester United is close, and now Erik ten Hag has a priority before that game on September 16.

Manchester United need to get back on track, and that means that the next game at Old Trafford against Brighton, it seems that the red devils manager has a priority ahead of that game.

Erik ten Hag and the Manchester United team have a huge problem for the next season, the reason being that the red devils currently have two of their wingers out of the team, Antony is definitely not available until his accusations clear out, and on the other hand there is Jadon Sancho that his relationship with Ten Hag could mean that he is not going to be a part of the team.

Most of the sources close to Manchester United have confirmed that Facundo Pellistri is going to be the starter for the next game against Brighton, and now it seems that Erik ten Hag wants to give the 21 year old winger a confidence boost, and that would include a contract extension for the young player that might be ready to get the opportunity he was looking for.

Facundo Pellistri was set to leave the team on a loan deal in this transfer window, but with the lack of some good offers on the table it seems that Erik ten Hag wanted to have him in the team, and with the way things have turned for the red devils and their team it seems that the 21 year old is ready to prove that he is capable to be a part of Manchester United.

Facundo Pellistri contract

The current contract of Facundo Pellistri ends in the summer of 2025, and there are some sources that Erik ten Hag is ready to give him a contract that would last at least until 2028 and would also give him a salary boost for his new United role.
