Facundo Pellistri receives words of encouragement from former United striker Diego Forlán

After the first game of the season it seems that Erik ten Hag is ready to give Facundo Pellistri a new chance to prove himself with the team in this next season, and there is a legend that would like to see him shine.

For most of the transfer window it was believed that Facundo Pellistri would be send out on a loan deal, but after we were able to saw the young player being subbed in at the 75 minute, that makes us believe that Erik ten Hag might be considere giving him another chance in this Premier League season to prove himseld with the team.

And now that the future of Facundo Pellistri seems to be on the line, the Manchester United press asked directly to Diego Forlan about a player to look out for in this next season, and of course he talked about Facundo Pellistri, being from the same country, Uruguay, and of course the have shared some time together in some other team.

Diego Forlan answer was, “Well, I know Pellistri. I was his manager at Penarol, when he was playing there, the he left for United. So of course, you are aware of him and we want him to get more minutes… He scored a goal in the last game (of the preseason) and hopefully he can get more minutes at United this season.”

Now the fact is that Facundo Pellistri was set to leave on a loan deal, but Ten Hag wanted to make sure that he signed his contract extension first, and now it seems that in those days it was more than enough to change the mind of the red devils manager that is now ready to give an important role to the winger and wait the results.
