Sadly, the club has to always make the decision they feel is best for them, the fans, and their future which sometimes can be a very tough situation to be in. The club had in recent years begun to clear out the playing squad as they shaped up for their soon-to-be future.
In the last summer window, United did their latest clearing out and brought in a new manager Erik ten Hag as well as quality players like Casemiro, Eriksen, Lisandro Matinez, and a few others to begin the new era at the club.
In a recent report, former Manchester United midfielder Andre Herrera had a lengthy discussion about his time at the club and made some testing revelations. Herrera stated that despite winning trophies and even the fans' player of the year award, he was heartbroken the club decided against renewing his contract. He added that he believed he deserved a new contract at the time and was disappointed it was never offered. The former player broke down in tears during the conversation.
