Former Manchester United star, Cristiano Ronaldo has kickstarted his last dance campaign with the Portuguese national team today against the Black Stars of Ghana. He started his life after United finely so far as Portugal dominated the halftime proceedings despite the current 0-0 scoreline.

Ronaldo his now former club teammate Bruno Fernandes started the game and has so far shown a glimpse of their immense quality on the pitch. Ronaldo in particular looks a lot more lively than he has been at United this season and constantly puts in the work as the game progresses. He did score a goal which was called off for a foul.

Earlier this week, Cristiano Ronaldo agreed to a mutual contract termination with Manchester United over his media comments surrounding his then situation at the club. The interview revealed what many terms questionable issues at the club.

Despite leaving the club, Ronaldo did not fail to appreciate the fans of the Red Devils with a direct farewell message to them while reminding them that he's now focused on his current future with the Portuguese national team as they compete with the best at Qatar.

Cristiano Ronaldo during his media interview had cooled off any chances of Portugal being amongst the favorites to win the Mundial this year. But he stated clearly should Portugal win the World Cup he would very happy even if he plays only a small part in that success in Qatar and will gladly retire afterward.
