The fact is that since he came back from the injury it seems that Mason Mount has been one of the best players for the red devils so far, so the fans are shocked to not see him there.

Since he arrived from the injury with the red devils in the last part of the season he has been able to have a really positive impact for the team, and that is why it was a surprise for most of the fans to not see him in the England National team once again, but now the manager has talked about his reasons to leave him out of the team.

Southgate said, “I read a lot of things about Mason and I think he is a very under appreciated player, but not by use… He is a top player he can receive (the ball) under pressure.” now that it has been reported that the manager has a lot of pressure from the fans to actually call him up in the next time that he has the chance with the team.

“He is intelligent with his movement. He is, of course, still learning. In a tactical game where it is just as important defensively what the forwards do, to have a player like him who can do both sides is important” he ended, that despite his words it seems that he might no intention of getting him back to the national team any time soon.

It is a fact that the last time that Mason Mount was part of the national team is since the World Cup in Qatar, where he was used as a sub in the quarter finals exit against France, and it seems that the red devils player could use this moment with the team to actually force him to take him back to the team.

Mason Mount role

And with the fact that for Ten Hag, Mason Mount is one of the most important players and with his role next to Bruno, it seems that he might get the chance to go back way sooner than it's expected.
