Erik Ten Hag had promised more youth integration into the first team after taking over in the summer and so far Garnacho has benefited the most from it with several first-team appearances this season. The youngster has made his mark with not just his football understanding but also with his goal contributions so far.

Garnacho scored two goals and provided two assists to win Manchester United player of the month of November. The youngster scored the winner against Fulham just before the league season was halted for the World Cup. His fantastic performance has earned him lots of praise and admiration from his manager, teammates like Rashford and Bruno Fernandes, as well as United fans.

Why is Garnacho furious with Manchester United?

The 18-year-old Argentine fantastic form convinced Manchester United's board to offer him a new long-term contract as they build for the future. According to reports, the new Manchester United contract offered to him has remained unsigned as the player's representative deemed the reported 20 000 euros weekly salary is not enough and does not reflect his growing status in the team. Garnacho's contract situation is reportedly being monitored by top clubs in Europe including Real Madrid.
