It seems that Harry Kane was also interested in joining the red devils in the last transfer window, but he was greatly dissapointed when things started to take another direction with the team.

The red devils were looking for a striker that could arrive to Old Trafford right away, and now that Harry Kane is with the Bayern Munich team, it seems that the english striker wanted to be that player for the team, but he was really disspointed when the transfer took another direction and he was forced to take a decision that eventually send him to the german team.

Sources close to Harry Kane have confirmed that the striker wanted to join the red devils, and in fact the striker was ready to wait for the team until the next year when he would have become a free agent, but only if Ten Hag gave him some type of security that in one year time the deal would have actually happen, something that the red devils manager never did.

On top of that it has also been reported that Harry Kane gave up any chance to become a red devil when the deal for Rasmus Hojlund was completed, and in fact the english striker completed the move to Germany just one week after that deal happen, something that shows that he was actually waiting and hoping for some kind of movement from the red devils to sign him.

Now that he is at Bayern Munich it seems that any move to Old Trafford is impossible, even if the player would want to it seems that there is not going to happen anymore, something that has dissapointed Harry Kane really deep, because he wanted to become the top scorer in the Premier League but he wanted to do it as a red devil.

Harry Kane timeline

And while the red devils were not ready to pay 100 million euros for Harry Kane, it seems that the striker was happy with waiting until he was a free agent, something that would have happen in the summer of 2024 as well.
