Manchester United will have to say goodbye to the possibility of having Harry Kane for next season, the English striker has just signed for Bayern Munich in a permanent transfer, meanwhile the Red Devils decided to go for Rasmus Hojlund as their new striker, leaving the way clear for the Bavarian club to sign Kane.

Erik Ten Hag has always shown his admiration and desire to sign one of the best players in the Premier League, however, the negotiations were not easy from the start, as Tottenham opted to set an extremely high price for the player, with the intention that almost no team could sign him, so due to the tight budget they have this season, it was practically impossible to even make an offer.

This meant that the coach had to look for other options that were a little cheaper, for that reason and after two long months of searching, Rasmus Hojlund arrived at Old Trafford on 5 August for a sum of 72 million pounds, although his signing was not so cheap, it is true that it was much more economical and feasible to sign the Dane than Kane.

From that moment, United had to say goodbye to one of the great objectives that Ten Hag had since the beginning of the summer; even so, it was hoped that the British striker would arrive the year after his contract expired for free, however, Bayern Munich went ahead of the plans and decided to make an offer during this week.
