Everybody loved him last season but nobody cares about him any now that this happened.

Manchester United has struggled in recent years, with an array of inconsistent performances, dressing room tantrums, off-the-pitch drama, and many more. Yet their fans remained heavily invested in them, week in and week out, as the Old Trafford stands and away stands were filled to see their team play.

One consistent bright light in those gloomy moments was this player that dazzled on the pitch under any weathered, Whether at home or away, he remained majestic in his performances while leveling up one game after another under the different managers since joined United in 2020.

Bruno Fernandes was United's most consistent since his January move from Sporting CP in 2020, bagging eight goals and seven assists in his first 14 Premier League appearances. The following season he went a notch further with 18 goals and 12 assists, winning United's Player of the season that year. Last he had 10 goals and six assists to help United earn a European spot in the League.

His recent dip in the form under new manager Erik Ten Hag with just three goals and assist contributions in 16 games this season, has seen him receive heavy criticism from the fans, as many clamored for him to be dropped. This has been the toughest start to a season for the Portuguese playmaker who has been their most consistent player in years, but the support for him has been questionable.

Can Bruno turn things around sooner than later?

Despite the backlash he has received this season, Bruno is being backed by many of his ardent followers to turn things around and become the creative spark for Erik ten Hag's team as they charge on this season. The playmaker will be hoping that his manager remains patient with him as he is working extra to get back to his prime form.
