When asked by Piers Morgan in the interview who amongst his current teammates he thinks would have longevity in football at the top level, he was swift to mention one name clearly, Diogo Dalot. He added that he believes Dalot has all the right attributes and attitude to maintain being at the top level.

Diogo Dalot joined United in 2018 from Portuguese giant FC Porto for about 22 million euros. He had a decent start at United before being loaned out to AC Milan in 2020 and returning to United in 2021 to fight for a spot on the team. The right-back has been Ten Hag's first-choice right-back this season with 20 appearances and has been in a good form.
