Ryan Giggs is a legendary One Club Man of Manchester United with 963 official matches and not a single expulsion as Red Devil, considered one of the best players of his generation and the Wales team.

During his time at United, he won 13 Premier League trophies, more than any other player in history, including four FA Cup winners' medals, three League Cup winners' medals, two UEFA Champions League, one FIFA Club World Cup winner's medal, one Intercontinental Cup winner's medal, one UEFA Super Cup winner's medal and nine FA Community Shield winner's medals .

Manchester United and Liverpool are the only clubs in English football history to have won more league championships than Giggs. He also captained Manchester United on numerous occasions, most notably the 2007-08 season, when regular captain Gary Neville was ruled out with various injuries.

He was also the first player in history to win back-to-back PFA Young Player of the Year awards (1992 and 1993), although he did not win the PFA Player of the Year award until 2009. He was the only player to play in each one of the first 22 seasons in the Premier League, as well as the only player to score in each of the first 21 seasons.

He was chosen in the PFA Team of the Century in 2007, in the Premier League Team of the Decade in 2003, as well as in the FA Cup Team of the Century. He also holds the record for assists in Premier League history League, with 162. He was named BBC Sports Personality of the Year for 2009. In 2007 he was named an OBE in the Queen's Birthday Honors List for services to football.

The Ryan Giggs Legacy

There's no mistaking the talent of the Class of '92, an inimitable group who proved themselves worthy of wearing Manchester United's famous red shirt. But David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, Phil Neville and Nicky Butt would never have had the same opportunities if Ryan Giggs hadn't flourished in front of them, and for that they, and all Manchester United fans around the world, owe it to Giggs your most sincere gratitude.
