He was no longer in Erik Ten Hagy's plans and is now looking for a team to continue his career

Manchester United has made many changes since the arrival of Erik Ten Hag, the team has gone through a complete renovation in every way, for that reason some players have no longer had a place in the team, all this has been because of the new vision and project that has tried to implement the Dutch coach, to return the club to the top of Europe.

One of the players who was destined to leave this season was the Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea, who after 12 years in goal for the Red Devils, had to say goodbye to the club because he could not reach an agreement with the board to renew his contract, and the coach had already planned to bring in his replacement.

De Gea said farewell to the fans and his teammates, in an emotional message on social networks, this marked the end of an era, but also the beginning of another, as the fans hope that with all this renovation that the team has gone through, they will be able to achieve trophies and take away the hegemony of Manchester City in the Premier League

Now the Spanish goalkeeper is without a team, although a few days ago Real Madrid said they were interested in signing him after Thibaut Courtois' injury that will keep him out for practically the whole year, however, the Spanish club would choose Kepa, who plays for Chelsea, as his replacement.

De Gea's achievements

During his 12 years in the team, David de Gea has become one of the best goalkeepers in the history of Manchester United, as in this time he has been able to win 8 titles with the Red Devils, including the last Premier League that the club won 10 years ago, as well as being the player with the most games played with 545 matches.
