United fans have been in buzzing spirits about the soon return to club football but there is an underline concern about the team's chances for a title this season if they don't complete the signing of a new attacker in the January transfer window.
The fears erupted within the fanbase last month when Manchester United announced their decision to part ways with last season's top scorer and club legend, Cristiano Ronaldo following his scandalous media interview that sent the club into a meltdown.
Manchester United noticed something was wrong and Ten Hag took this urgent steps
No matter how long it takes, Ten Hag is determined to wait for him
The Red Devils had planned to make only make a possible temporary attacking addition in the winter window while they focused their full efforts on next summer but their plan was drastically turned around following the Ronaldo situation.
Erik Ten Hag earlier this week confirmed their intention to sign an attacker in the coming months and reiterated that they are checking out all available options to them and would only go for the best signing that can have an instant impact on their season targets.
According to reports, Manchester United admire SSC Napoli's striker Victor Osimhen but doubts that they can prise him away from Naples in January considering Napoli's current league position. The club is however still checking out the possibility of a summer move if they get a temporary solution in January.
