While the season has reached its midway point, several things have been forgotten since the start of the season at Manchester United as fans have become predominantly focused on the results and their players' form under the new manager.
The players have become aligned with the managerial changes and beginning to gel more as the season progress, with several consistent starters having earned their places in the starting lineup after impressing Erik Ten Hag.

David De Gea is certainly one to have benefited greatly from the new managerial change in the summer, as he picked up his form rapidly as the season progressed, producing a number of his icon saves to signal that he's still a quality player.
Ten Hag even went a step further to back him by loaning out Dean Henderson and bringing in Martin Dubravka as the second-choice goalie. The Spaniard has racked up several clean sheets this season along with the revamped United backline.
Currently, the former Spanish number has been in a rather disappointing situation off the pitch as his current contract is set to expire in the summer and United so far remains uninterested in offering him a new one despite his willingness to take a huge pay cut to remain at the club of his dreams. De Ge is currently in Spain along with the rest of their United squad for their training camp while the club continues to scout his replacements.
